We are all aware of the severe destruction caused by Cyclone Hudhud. Vizag, Srikakulam, Vizianagaram and East Godavari from Andhra Pradesh and Ganjam, Rayagada and Malkanigiri from Odisha are among the most affected districts, with lives of almost 5 Lakh people directly disrupted and killing at least 28 people.
The Government has been providing food, clean water and some shelter materials, but there are still places where people have not received anything as per the latest reports.
The IT-BPM industry has always been there at times of peril. NASSCOM Foundation in partnership with HYSEA (Hyderabad Software Enterprises Association) is here to lend our support to these noble efforts for the people affected by the cyclone and tied up with NGOs like Forum for Integration in Development and Research(FIDR), Jan Kalyan Welfare Society, Save The Children and WorldVision India with more NGOs joining the cause as we speak.
If you wish to contribute monetarily towards the cause, please contact (by 17th Oct 2014):
