The finalists of the NSIF - IAN Challenge have been selected!

After a rigorous evaluation process, the finalists of the first ever NASSCOM Social Innovation Forum - Indian Angel Network Challenge have been announced! Nominated projects now get an opportunity to pitch at the Indian Angel Network!!

The finalists are:

  • Global THEN – Global Travel and Hospitality Education Network (

    GlobalTHEN creates best-in-breed learning experiences to the workforce in global travel, tourism and hospitality (TTH) industry. By leveraging a cutting edge OmniDELTM approach which is multi-dimensional, multi-media, multi-device and multiple technologies, GlobalTHEN is able to scale learning experiences effectively including the bottom of pyramid workforce.

  • SevaMob - Primary healthcare and insurance for low income consumers (

    Sevamob works towards transforming the delivery of healthcare to low income consumers. For a low monthly subscription, preventive care and prescriptions are delivered at door-step by mobile clinics with the help of mobile technology. Advanced care is delivered by back-office specialists, 24x7 call-center and network of 3rd party service providers.

  • Eram Scientific - Sustainable sanitation promotion & livelihood generation (

    Eram Scientific proposes an Entrepreneur Driven Sustainable Sanitation Promotion & Livelihood Generation Model to address two critical social issues of our time- Sanitation & Street Vending through a combination of eToilet-eShop.
    eToilet: India’s First Electronic Public Toilet eShop: India’s First Technology enabled shop model for the BoP entrepreneurs

  • Concept Waves - Serving the community through innovations in Education and Livelihoods technology (

    ConceptWaves is focused on serving the community through innovations in education and livelihoods technology. The organization creates technology solutions for academic institutes by marrying the power of cloud computing with handheld devices. These solutions are being used to support academic programs serving hundreds of thousands of students. ConceptWaves has also developed innovative solutions for farmers and crop processing units and received international recognition for it.


NASSCOM Foundation and Indian Angel Network will work with the entrepreneurs to refine their business propositions and elevator pitches for investors. The Pitch Session is scheduled for the last week of August.

About the NSIF - IAN Challenge

NASSCOM Social Innovation Forum
in partnership with Indian Angel Network (IAN) ran the NSIF-IAN Challenge to create eco system support for social innovators and entrepreneurs. The challenge is a platform that combines the strengths of both NSIF and IAN, fostering social transformation by providing relevant capital to companies that aim to serve the community at large but lack funds to achieve desired goals.
