Once upon a time..

Suriya Kumar was 16 years old studying in 11th Standard at Kelambakkam Government Higher Secondary School. He was always good with his academics but was lacking the right kind of training opportunities to pursue his passion of Teaching.

A Wish Comes true!

He heard of a digital literacy course being conducted free  of  cost at  a nearby  center and sprung –up on the opportunity. Digital Literacy training opened  his mind to new concepts of ‘teaching’ and helped him chase his passion. He learned about group facilitation for conducting classes and mastered the training modules.

Soon he was taking sessions on subjects like Introduction to internet, Internet and social media etc. and helping train more people on digital literacy.

And he lived happily ever after

He now takes various sessions on Internet awareness and social media for his class-mates in his school as well as at the NDLM center. He has now become a facilitator and is happy pursuing his passion and living his dream to the fullest.
