Make-A-Wish- India, established in 1996, is dedicated to granting the most cherished wish of children between 3 and 18 years, living with life-threatening illnesses, irrespective of their socio-economic status, caste or religion. The Foundation’s mission is to transform the dreams of children into reality. Currently they are present in 11 locations across India.
Being an NGO with a vast number of individual and institutional donors as well as the personal; data of their young beneficiaries, data protection and privacy was of paramount importance. Given their large number of operational locations, there were high chances of the data being compromised through non-secure machines.
