Connecting for Good – A program run in partnership with Vodafone Foundation, helps NGOs solve the most difficult of their problems through innovative tech based solutions.
Connecting for Good is about combining Vodafone’s charitable giving and technology to make a difference in the world. Globally, the Vodafone Foundation supports projects that are focused on delivering public benefit through the application of technology across the areas of health, education and disaster relief.
In India, Vodafone Foundation has partnered with NASSCOM Foundation in an effort to maximize social impact and drive technology for Good. The Connecting for Good Program in India works in two distinct parts:
1. Solutions for Good
2. Social App Hub

Solutions for Good helps build social development solutions for Not-for-Profit organisations by providing technology support to improve operational efficiency of a flagship initiative/program which can further lead to better & deeper impact on beneficiaries.
The Program hopes to empower NPO’s with a technology solution which can be helpful for them in their day to day program management. It can be in various sectors like Health, Education, Empowerment, Child Trafficking, Government Services, Agriculture etc.
Vodafone Social App Hub – a one stop platform where users can get information about all available apps that address issues related to education, agriculture, health, and more. It is the meeting point for all stakeholders, including developers, NGOs and mobile phone users, to utilise technology for social good.
The main objective behind the Hub is to identify, review and feature social apps that are meant for use in different sectors across India.
