The ‘Digital Resource Centres’ program aims at empowering the communities from marginalized backgrounds with enhanced digital literacy and access to Government schemes. In this project, NASSCOM Foundation will set up “Resource Centers for Digital Literacy and E-Governance” in different districts of the country, with a focus on Aspirational districts.
These Resource centres will act as change agents and engines of development, ensuring they provide need-based information, resources and an array of services, that will impact citizens’ lives and their livelihood in alignment with 2030 Sustainable Development Goals. The Centres will be equipped with digital assets like computers & printer, online resources like subscriptions to informative pages/channels and physical resources such as books, magazines, newsletters, making digital tools available and accessible to the entire community. The centres will also provide services to community to avail the eligible Government schemes and E-Governance services and will act as hub to train community members with digital skills making them digitally literate.

The “NASSCOM Foundation’s Resource Center for Digital Literacy and E-Governance” project aims at empowering the communities from marginalised backgrounds in Aspirational districts to become digitally literate and access all relevant government schemes. It would help to enhance the knowledge, bridging information gaps, livelihoods creation and easing access to relevant government schemes, financial inclusion and linkages to ensure overall wellbeing. In this project, NASSCOM Foundation will set up “Resource Center for Digital Literacy and E-Governance” in 40 Aspirational Districts in the country.
The Aspirational District Programme launched by the government in January 2018 is an attempt to push for growth across various socio-economic parameters for inclusive development. “NASSCOM Foundation’s Resource Center for Digital Literacy and E-Governance” will contribute to achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

National Digital Literacy Mission (‘NDLM’) has been initiated with the vision to empower at least one person per household with crucial digital literacy skills by 2020. With the emergence of the pandemic the need to accelerate and scale this program has been felt. With schools, colleges and training centers switching to online / hybrid learning, the need for rapid transformation from the conventional physical classroom learning system to the digital sphere has been felt.
NASSCOM Foundation has a mandate to provide exposure of computers and digital learning to communities that are deprived of it or do not have proper access to the same. “Continued Learning Access Project” has been developed to implement more creative, sustainable and inclusive models of education through the use of Information technology. Multiple platforms have been developed accordingly to address and mitigate the sizeable gap in the delivery of digital education in India and urgent interventions of ICT in the inaccessible areas of India.
