Key Responsibilities

NASSCOM Foundation’s ‘Skills Initiative and Entrepreneurship’ works to bridge the skilling gap in the IT industry in India. The Foundation works closely with the IT Sector Skills Council – NASSCOM SSC. The Foundation helps the donor organizations finalize various aspects of the Skills-based CSR intervention. These include skill-need discovery, course curriculum and the region of intervention. We work with training partners to deliver the course to the youth, women and the marginalized. The Foundation also helps support placement of the trained individuals. The Foundation has a strong focus to grow entrepreneurship in order to provide sustainable economic growth especially involving women, youth and people with disabilities. We work towards equipping them with multiple skill sets including digital and financial with a special focus on technology.

As key member of the team, s/he/they will be managing content repository. Broad structure of responsibilities is noted below.

  • Understand the goals of our client/end-user (learners), align the product to these objectives by setting clear priorities and direction.
  • Define, curate & structure content development process; work on content across all levels.
  • Quickly learn complex concepts and ensure the quality of content, instructional design, delivery, and overall course experience. per the requirement.
  • Building partnerships with various institutes/organizations for content/courses usage.
  • Ensure adoption of best practices in content curation & delivery.
  • Orienting partner organizations in the usage of the content.
  • Ensuring organizational online content platform maintained as per the requirements.
  • Ensuring the curated contents are as per industry standards and meets industry requirements.
  • Representing the organization at various forums.
  • Maintain the MIS for contents-related activities/project.
  • Any other incidental work as and when required.

Key Requirements

  • Post graduate in relevant stream with 10+ years of post-qualification in the relevant field.
  • Experience in managing government/corporate relationships would be an added advantage.
  • Experience with leading content localization and translation across Indian languages.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
  • Ability to understand new technology and concepts.
  • Experience of team management.
  • We need change markers to drive our inclusive tech agenda.
  • Passion and commitment towards bringing a social change.

Desirable

  • Ability to understand concepts and lead a team to create SCORM compliant digital training programs that meet compliance, accreditation, and continuing education needs
